Ben is a thought leader and experienced management consultant, specializing in leadership, strategy, organizational development and people management issues, particularly within the humanitarian and development sector.
He has worked in more than 35 countries, and with a diverse range of organizations including the London Business School, Cranfield University, the UN, the Red Cross and many INGOs including Save the Children, ActionAid, Oxfam, CARE, PLAN International and World Vision.
Ben is currently Director at the Conscious Project, a social business that works across all sectors and geographies, and specializes in leadership development, management consultancy, coaching and mentoring and facilitation.
In previous roles Ben has worked as a Director for People In Aid, a global non-profit network of more than 200 INGOs, dedicated to improving the quality and impact of aid through better leadership and people management; as an HR Adviser for Save the Children, the international children’s charity; and as an Associate Director for the Design Research Unit, a global architecture and design consultancy. He has also held various teaching and voluntary sector roles in the UK and France, and has sales and marketing experience acquired in the UK and Switzerland.
Ben has a BA (Hons) in French and Spanish and an MA in Personnel and Development. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has additional qualifications in quality management and social audit.
